Materials engineering - Concrete quality control
As part of the prefabrication project of the NEBT beams for the Metropolitan Express Network (REM), Solmatech supervised the quality control of the concrete for 276 beams, designed to last 100 years. Our teams conducted tests using a mobile laboratory (slump, air content, density) as well as analyses in the laboratory (compression strength, air void system, electrical resistivity).
We further contributed to site management and the implementation of the concrete maturity system to enhance the formwork removal and strand cutting stages.
