Project
Quebec’s Ministry of Transport has initiated the major renovation project of the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel, built in 1967, to ensure the longevity of this infrastructure and to preserve its essential role in the circulation of people and goods along Highways 20 and 25.
Solmatech was employed for the environmental component, during which over 400 soil and residual material samples were collected, analyzed, and assessed in the handling of excavated soils. In addition to supporting the client with their soil management plan within a very tight schedule, our team provided recommendations to reduce administrative and material disposal costs.
