Geotechnical team supervisor
In 2011, Michaël began his professional path at Solmatech as a field intern within our geotechnical department while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in construction engineering at ÉTS. Throughout his studies, he continued to contribute to the company, working part-time night shifts for the environmental department. He completed a second internship at Solmatech, this time serving as an assistant project manager, allowing him to reinforce his academic learning with practical experience. Following the completion of his degree in 2014, Michaël joined the geotechnical department as a full-time assistant project manager. His advancement within the organization continued steadily: he was promoted to project manager in 2015, and subsequently to team supervisor in 2020. In this position, he assumed greater responsibility for personnel management and played a key role in mentoring junior geotechnical engineers. Michaël describes his team as strongly united, akin to a second family, an aspect he regards as the most rewarding element of his work.
