Since 2019, Solmatech has been working with NEL-i, a firm specialized in the field, to establish the framework of its action plan and quantify its emissions. This in-depth analysis has allowed us to:
We have determined that 96.8% of our emissions originate from travel to client sites and employee commutes to the office.
Solmatech will gradually replace its fleet and aims for 100% electric vehicles.

While we are committed to significantly reducing our emissions, we cannot eliminate them entirely, and our activities still affect the climate. As a result, we promise to offset our remaining emissions by purchasing certified carbon credits.
Since 2021, Solmatech has been partnering with a verified carbon offset provider to compensate for all emissions measured from 2020 onward. We invest in a diverse portfolio of projects, with educational initiatives making up 95% of our carbon credit budget.
Investing today ensures the elimination of our residual emissions tomorrow. This principle underpins our partnership with NEL-i and TreesOfLives. The funds we allocate are utilized to restore damaged ecosystems in the Amazon and implement sustainable land-use practices that benefit local communities while sequestering substantial amounts of carbon. Such an investment constitutes a critical element in maintaining Solmatech’s carbon neutrality for decades to come.
