SOLMATECH proudly announces the appointment of Jean Bernier, Eng., as the new president, effective February 24, 2025. This transition reflects a commitment to leadership renewal while upholding the organization’s foundational values.
Jean Bernier has accumulated 34 years of professional experience in materials engineering, geotechnics, and environmental consulting in Québec. He will take on the responsibilities of president and chief executive officer of the organization. Having held the position of vice president at Solmatech for more than 18 years, Mr. Bernier is well-versed in the company’s operations. This change is intended to strengthen our leadership and support ongoing growth. He will play a pivotal role in shaping Solmatech’s continued evolution and adaptability.
The company will maintain its role as a trusted partner in major infrastructure projects across Québec, in keeping with its commitment to service quality.
Solmatech expresses its deep appreciation to Éric Landreville who held the presidency for the past 29 years. He has decided to step back from day-to-day operations and will now fully dedicate himself to chairing the board of directors. We thank him for his leadership and contributions to the development of the organization.
